RackCorp is best known for our high-availability and failover solutions. We have made choices in designing our platform, and building our networks / hardware that have all been with the intention of making every component of our services have the highest possible availability.
RackCorp does not trust any single piece of hardware or software in high availability configurations. We deliberately source multi-vendor solutions so we can avoid vendor-induced bugs and failures.
Our network and power environment includes dual redundant network switches, dual redundant power feeds, and multi upstream network providers. Our hardware includes dual redundant power supply units, dual redundant network ports, RAID controller battery backup units, and RAID10 fault-tolerance configurations.
Enterprises running important services through our cloud can benefit from our multi-zone failover network. Primary zone resources are able to be replicated to a secondary zone, and options from manual failover to auto failover can be configured depending on the client's requirements.
Multiple Upstream Networks
To ensure network continuity regardless of specific circumstances affecting a particular connection, our clients are assured of continuous connectivity to the network through our use of several upstream network providers. Not only does this provide multiple levels of Internet redundancy, it also allows us to provide the best routes for our clients' data to traverse, effectively yielding a quality of service network.
RAID 10 Arrays
RAID 10 is our standard array option for disks. This provides a high level of hardware redundancy while also facilitating faster storage performance. The resulting environment is one where data is more resilient in various conditions and reads/writes are performed at increased speeds.
Fully Managed Backup & Restore
We offer many options for managed backup depending on the client's requirements. Clients can select to have incremental backups, rolling daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly backup schedules to suit various requirements. Backup images are stored in standby environments and are able to be restored immediately.
